The heart of Radiant Flo

Kundalini Activation in Carlsbad and online

A transmission of life-force energy. You lie down, close your eyes, and receive.

What Kundalini Activation is

In yogic traditions, Kundalini is described as the life-force energy that rests at the base of the spine, waiting to rise.

A Kundalini Activation is a transmission of that energy. You lie down, close your eyes, and I hold the space while the current is invited to move through you. There is nothing to learn and nothing to perform. Your own system responds in its own way, at its own pace.

It is different from a Kundalini awakening, which people describe as a longer process that can unfold over months or years. An activation is a ceremony you attend. What it opens can keep unfolding in the days after.

It is different from Kundalini yoga, which is a practice you do on your own. In an activation, you receive.

The session

What happens when you come

Every activation is different, because every body and every circle is different. This is the shape it usually takes.

  1. I

    Arriving

We clear the space and open with prayer and intention. You settle onto your mat, and I share what to expect, so nothing feels unfamiliar.

  2. II

    Dropping in

I often begin with the breath. Depending on the session, that may be guided breathwork, gentle postures and kriyas, or a light body activation, to help you arrive fully in your body.

  3. III

    Receiving

You lie down and close your eyes. Music and sound carry you while I work with the energy in the room and around your body. Light touch on points is part of my practice, and it is always optional.

  4. IV

    Integrating

We close with quiet time and gentle sharing, so you can land in your body before you head home.

What guests often describe

Warmth Tingling Waves of energy Spontaneous movement Tears or laughter Deep stillness Vivid images Sounds or light language Deeper sleep after

Some people feel a great deal in their first session. Others feel very little and notice the shift in the days after. There is no right experience to have.

Before your activation

How to prepare

You don’t need any experience. A little care beforehand helps you receive more fully.

Your body

  • Eat lightly, and leave an hour or two before the session
  • Drink plenty of water during the day
  • Wear soft, comfortable clothes
  • Skip alcohol the day before and the day of

Your heart

  • Come with one intention, something you’re ready to release or receive
  • Let go of expectations about what you “should” feel
  • Know that you can open your eyes or pause at any moment
  • For online sessions: a quiet room, headphones and a place to lie down

After your activation

Integration

Often the deepest part of the experience happens after the music stops.

In the days after

  • Rest when your body asks, and drink plenty of water
  • Spend time outside, barefoot if you can
  • Emotions may surface and pass. Let them move
  • Notice your dreams, and write down what comes

When to reach out

  • If anything feels like too much, message me. I’m here
  • If you feel unsteady for more than a few days, reach out to your doctor or a mental health professional
  • This work supports your wellbeing. It never replaces medical or mental health care

Questions

Before you come

Is Kundalini Activation safe?

For most people, yes. You can open your eyes, pause or stop at any time, and nothing is forced. It isn’t suitable for everyone, so please read who it’s for above, and tell me about anything I should know when you book.

What if I don’t feel anything?

That’s more common than you might think, especially the first time. Some people feel strong movement or emotion; others feel only a deep rest. Both are part of the work. Most people feel the energy settle in over three to five sessions.

Do I need experience?

No. You don’t need to meditate, do yoga or understand energy. Curiosity is enough.

Will I be touched?

Light touch on points is part of my practice, and it is always optional. Just let me know if you’d prefer no touch.

How long is a session?

Online group sessions are about 90 minutes, temple ceremonies about two hours, and private sessions 60 minutes.

Where are sessions held?

In my home temple in Carlsbad, California, in North County San Diego. The address is sent after you book. Online sessions are held on Zoom.

How much does it cost?

Online sessions are $44, and your first is $11.11 with the invitation in the free guide. Temple ceremonies are $77. Private sessions start at $144. See all options
