Kundalini Activation with Blue Lotus

An evening Kundalini Activation in my temple, supported by Blue Lotus, to soften, let go of what you’ve been carrying, and receive. We share a cup of pure Egyptian Blue Lotus, then you lie down for a Kundalini Activation. No experience needed.

The evening

Two unhurried hours, held from the moment you arrive.

  1. I

    Arriving

You settle in as the space is cleared and opened with prayer and intention. Many people come on their own, and you’ll be welcomed as you are.

  2. II

    The Blue Lotus

We share a cup of pure Egyptian Blue Lotus. You hold it at your heart, set an intention into it, and sip slowly.

  3. III

    Dropping in

I often begin with the breath. Depending on the evening, that may be guided breathwork, gentle postures and kriyas, or a light body activation.

  4. IV

    Receiving

Then you lie down, close your eyes and receive the Kundalini Activation, held by music, sound and the energy in the room. Light touch on points is part of my practice, and it is always optional.

  5. V

    Integrating

We close with quiet time and gentle sharing, so you can land in your body before you head home.

In my practice

Why I gather at the full moon

I’ve always felt deeply connected to the moon and its cycles. For me, it’s about being in natural flow with the rhythm of life and nature, and gathering in circle around the full moon feels meaningful and intentional. In my practice, the full moon is a time of completion, of coming full circle and letting go.

I know this kind of letting go from my own life. A couple of years ago, aligning with a new vision led me to release my old life: my home, the work I’d known for nearly two decades, and the life around it, so I could step into something completely new. I feel very empowered by that.

That’s why I serve pure Egyptian Blue Lotus at the full moon. It rises from the mud, opens to the sun, and returns to the water at night, moving through a full cycle. To me it’s a plant ally and an ancient ancestor, a reminder to soften and open.

We speak out loud what we’re ready to release. If you’d rather keep yours quiet, you can simply hold it in your heart. Both are welcome. We pray, and we work with sound, and often with fire and water too, like burning paper. I always listen to what arises in the group, so the circle, the rituals and the ceremony are never the same twice. Then you lie down and receive the Kundalini Activation.

About the Blue Lotus

The flower that opens to the light

In ancient Egypt

A sacred flower of the Nile

The Blue Lotus appears again and again on temple walls and in tombs. Each morning it rises from the water and opens to the sun, and each evening it closes again, which is why it became a symbol of rebirth. It was traditionally sipped for calm, contemplation and dreaming.

In my ceremonies

A gentle plant ally

I work with Blue Lotus to help the body soften before the activation. It is a quiet doorway: a few slow sips, an intention held at the heart, and a little more space to let go.

What guests share

Softer, calmer, more open

Guests often tell me they feel calmer and more at ease in their bodies, sleep more deeply that night, and notice their dreams more vividly in the days after. Everyone’s experience is their own.

From the moment I arrived, I felt safe, held, and cared for. That night, I slept more deeply than I have in a long time.

Please sip with care. Blue Lotus is gentle, but it is a real plant, and it is always optional. Skip it if you are pregnant or nursing, or taking sedatives or other medications, and give yourself unhurried time before driving home. Let me know on your booking form if you’d prefer to receive the activation without it.

About the activation

What is Kundalini Activation?

In yogic traditions, Kundalini is described as life-force energy resting at the base of the spine. A Kundalini Activation is a transmission of energy that helps that current move through the body.

There is nothing to learn and nothing to perform. You lie down, close your eyes and let your body respond in its own way. Some people feel warmth, tingling or waves of emotion. Some move or make sound. Some simply rest more deeply than they have in weeks. Whatever happens for you is welcome.

You simply lie down, close your eyes and receive.

Held by Anya

I’m Anya Dillon, and I hold these ceremonies in my temple in the La Costa area of Carlsbad. Trauma, illness and motherhood became the doorway into this work for me. Now I create a safe space where people can release what they’ve been carrying and leave feeling lighter.

Before you come

Questions

It’s my first time. Is that okay?

Yes. No experience is needed, and most guests come to their first ceremony not knowing what to expect. I’ll guide you through every part of the evening.

Can I come on my own?

Of course. Many people do. The circle is small, so you’re never lost in a crowd.

Where is it?

In my temple in the La Costa area of Carlsbad, California. The address is sent by email after you book.

What does Blue Lotus feel like?

I work with pure Egyptian Blue Lotus, not the purple lotus from Asia. For most people it’s gentle and subtle. Guests often describe feeling calmer and more relaxed, a softening in the body, and sometimes a quiet, dreamy mind. Everyone responds differently, and some people notice very little, which is completely okay. The Kundalini Activation is the heart of the evening either way.

What should I bring?

Comfortable clothes, a water bottle and an open heart. Mats, blankets and everything else are held for you.

What is the cancellation policy?

Full refunds up to 48 hours before the ceremony. Within 48 hours, your space can be moved to a future ceremony. Same-day cancellations and no-shows can’t be refunded or transferred.
